1. Who we are

This website is operated by Federico Raimondi Cominesi. For any questions about this policy, contact us at federico.raimondi@gsom.polimi.it.

2. What data we collect and why

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with this site. This is only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. GA4 may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Approximate geographic location (country / city, derived from IP)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Referring website

Your IP address is sent to Google's servers but is anonymised before storage. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any data that directly identifies you.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process analytics data on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 5).

4. Data retention and third parties

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics. Google LLC acts as a data processor under Google's Data Processing Terms. For more information see Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights and how to withdraw consent

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because the data collected via GA4 is anonymous and not linked to your identity, we are unable to retrieve or delete records for a specific person.

To withdraw your analytics consent, return to this page's footer and click cookie settings. Choosing "Decline" will immediately stop further GA4 data collection.

To exercise other GDPR rights, contact us at federico.raimondi@gsom.polimi.it.

6. Cookies used

Name Purpose Expiry
_ga Distinguishes unique users (Google Analytics) 2 years
_ga_* Persists session state (Google Analytics) 2 years

Analytics cookies are only set if you accept via the consent banner.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect any changes.
